“An absolutely beautiful fabric. Can be used for dress or upscale casual. Drapes wonderfully, has a very nice but not over-done texture, and the color is a perfect navy. Not so dark that it could be mistaken for black, it's definitely navy blue, and the color is very pure, with no undertones of anything else. The photo here on the site is very accurate. For a pure navy shirt, this is the nicest fabric I've ever seen.
It's lightweight, and when held up to the light it looks like the weave could be somewhat see-through, but in practice this is not a problem at all. The fabric is dark enough that there is no show through. You can definitely feel the texture, so it is a little rough against your skin, but not objectionable. (It feels a bit like a polo shirt, but thinner.) Only if you wanted a smooth, shimmery fabric would this not be the one for you. The finish is very matte.
I couldn't recommend this fabric more strongly.”
