How to Return a Product

We stand behind our products and want you to love all of your Proper Cloth pieces. With that in mind, we have a generous return policy designed to enable you to conveniently return items that you don’t love, and to remake custom items in new sizes, free of charge.

1. Check Our Return Policy

While our return policy is quite flexible, it is not unlimited. Before sending an item back, please be sure that it is eligible for a return. If you’re unsure, just ask! 

2. Submit a Return Request

To return an eligible item, submit a new Return Request through your Proper Cloth account.

  • Click + New Return
  • Select the item you wish to return
  • Select the appropriate reasons for returning the item
  • Select the desired resolution for your return
  • Select whether you need a return shipping label or not (included with all eligible US-orders without eco-friendly packaging requested)
  • Click Submit Return to complete your request

3. Mail the Product Back

For customers in the US, use the return shipping label that was included in your order. If you are not in the US, or if you have misplaced the return shipping label, please select “I need a new return shipping label” in the Return Request process.

The product can typically be repackaged in the same box that it was delivered in, but be sure to apply your return shipping label on top of the original postage information to avoid confusion with the courier.
