“This material is exactly like it looks in the photo. It is a little thicker than my other linens, so it was perfect for a camp shirt. Not too thick, but the plaid looks really great without the gauzy translucence of a thinner, plain white linen. It's still light enough to stay cool in a Kansas City bar in the middle of summer, yet it stands up to the humidity and the heat. The pattern is not too bright. It's understated but noticeable.”

“I just ordered three linen shirts:
Di Sondrio Beige Natural Dye Glen Plaid Linen, Redondo Blue Linen and Portuguese Washed Sienna and Beige Shadow Plaid Linen. They're all very nice. This one is much heavier than the others, fully opaque, and fine to wear on cooler days. It wrinkles a lot, though the least of these three shirts. It feels quite a bit beefier than any other linen shirt I have.
It's very comfortable, less scratchy than the two other linen fabrics. The pattern is easily visible, though still pretty subtle. Didn't shrink -- I ordered the sleeves a little longer than usual, and this was probably a mistake.”
