“Great fabric but I had trouble getting the end product to fit like the same pattern in cotton. The cuffs shrunk enough that I cannot wear with a watch so it has worked its way to the back of the shirt closet. I have a lot of shirts and I may not try on a New shirt for months waiting for the season to catch up and don’t realize until too much time has gone by. More my issue than Proper Cloth because they have a stand up policy in this regard. I need to not buy in advance or actually try on a out of season shirt when it comes back from laundry.”

“I like the feel and drape of the fabric, Reda Slate Blue Merino Wool PCF2151, however, after the second time I washed the shirt (on gentle cycle), the split yoke actually did split, separating at the seam, with the fabric fraying where it came apart. Because of the frayed fine-woven wool fabric, I don't think it could be repaired by a tailor. The shirt hangs in my closet until I have time to take it to a tailor to see if it can be repaired.
This is the first shirt from Proper Cloth with which I've had a problem.
I've just noticed that the button-down collar style that I prefer has been discontinued. I'll have to try button-down style no. 2, but I'm worried that it has a wider spread and won't look as nice when I don't wear a tie.”
