Portuguese Quartz Cotton and Hemp Oxford Fabric

A must-have for spring and summer.

In our minds, there's no situation in which you can't wear an oxford cloth button down (OCBD). There are times, however, when a pure cotton oxford wears a bit too warm. This 57% cotton/43% hemp blend, developed with our favorite Portuguese mill, has excellent breathability while retaining the substantial feel of a classic oxford weave. The fabric has a bit of natural slub from the hemp which gives it beautiful texture and character, and it’s more durable, opaque, slightly heavier than most cotton/linen blends, too. Expect it to age phenomenally and become your go-to warm weather shirt. This shade of quartz pink is a muted one that makes for an interesting alternative to the usual pinks you find on offer for oxfords. Pair it with a mix of neutrals for a fresh warm-weather look.

Recommended Styling: Go with our Soft Ivy Button Down collar, Rounded pocket, and Wide Soft placket for a classic oxford look. Go with our Soft English Spread collar and no placket for a more modern vibe.

“Expected to be a tad wrinkly, and it is, but not overly so. I like the lighter oxford cloth look/feel a lot. The color reminds me of some other Ralph Lauren Polo oxford cloth washed-out colors (and that's a good thing!); classic look. Please keep this fabric around!”
