Fabric Description
A soft flannel with a deceptively simple pattern.
This 100% cotton flannel has a soft, smooth hand that makes it a bit more refined than its more textured brethren. The 40s single-ply construction is warm but not stiflingly so, and it has a gentle drape that’s still satisfyingly weighted. The simple large check pattern is wrought from a pronounced twill weave with beautiful melange threads that give an overall impression of easy sophistication and inviting warmth. It’s a classic-looking plaid that’s familiar but interesting, and the navy blue and mid-tone grey are mixed easily into any winter wardrobe. Wear it untucked with worn-in denim or tucked into moleskin trousers and layered over a sweater.
