A soft and beautifully textured linen from Japan.

This substantial 100% linen fabric comes to us from Japan. It’s full of texture, with a pronounced twill weave and a touch of the slub that gives linen its wonderful character. Keep in mind that linen is naturally quite prone to wrinkling, but don't let that deter you—it's part of its charm, and gives this casual fabric an especially comfortable and lived-in look. This muted slate is a more interesting alternative to light blue or chambray—try it with browns and tans to create interest and contrast.

Recommended Styling: Go for soft details across the whole shirt. Our Soft Franklin Point collar, Soft Front placket, and Utility pockets with Slate Horn buttons make a great workwear design.

Casual Wash: Shirts cut in this fabric are washed after being sewn. This process gives the shirt a softer, broken-in feel with puckering around the seams.
