A hardy jacquard with a beautiful pattern inspired by Native American textiles.
This soft 20s single-ply twill is woven in Japan from 100% cotton. It has the sturdiness and comfort of well-worn denim, but with a refined, uniform texture and subtle weave. It’s not easy to achieve the level of detail in the patterns that play across this fabric—it requires a great deal of knowledge and expertise, and the Japanese mill we worked with executes it flawlessly. Thin stripes and zig-zags of white, deep red, and teal on the navy blue ground form a geometric pattern that recalls Native American textiles. It’s a fabric best suited to fall and winter in both weight and design, and it wears well it on its own or as a sophisticated overshirt.
