  • Read all my previous reviews, I'm a big fan of Proper Cloth.

March 2019  ·  Joseph in Coram, NY

  • Works fine as a casual shirt or business casual.

April 2017  ·  Adam in Rochester, MN

  • I really like this shirt when I want something slightly less formal, but still a dress shirt worn with a suit

March 2017  ·  Robert in New York, NY

  • nice look, good value, but this fabric is little more stiff than my other shirts (maybe the right wording is \"less soft\") . . . still recommend but a little less enthusiastically than usual

August 2015  ·  Stephen in JACKSONVILLE, FL

  • Easy to manage, wrinkle resistant and soft to wear

April 2015  ·  Dip in Waltham, MA

  • This is a go-to as it really goes with many things in my wardrobe. I would recommend it to others as a work-horse in your closet.

March 2015  ·  matthew in Forsyth, IL

  • Nice

March 2015  ·  Doug in Point Washington, FL

February 2015  ·  Craig in SAN FRANCISCO, CA

  • Soft light weight fabric. Subtle pattern.

February 2015  ·  Tanner in Calgary, Alberta

  • Very nice shirt. Its one of those \"just right\" shirts. Great for dress casual, but could also add spice of color to a sharp outfit.

January 2015  ·  Daniel in Bethlehem, PA

  • Versatile

January 2015  ·  Bryon Hefner in Boston, MA

  • Great check combination

January 2015  ·  Jared in SAN FRANCISCO, CA

  • Great value shirt, incredibly soft with a smooth finish and easy touch.

December 2014  ·  Christopher in Sandusky, OH

  • Really nice micro-check that has a mix of warm and cool colors that dresses up or down equally well.

November 2014  ·  Adam in Sunnyvale, CA

  • Nice and lightweight, but not the most durable fabric I\'ve gotten from Proper Cloth. My normally gentle cleaners reduced this one to shreds, so I\'ve replaced it and I wash it at home now.

July 2014  ·  Daniel in BOULDER, CO

  • My favorite proper cloth fabric. Hard to get a sense of it from the pictures. Looks like a shimmery blue from more than 5 feet away, resolves to the close check pattern closer. Fabric itself is soft and slightly shiny, opaque enough to wear without undershirt.

May 2014  ·  Cameron in Los Angeles, CA

  • Staple pattern, but this has an interesting sheen that makes it seem subtly more sophisticated.

April 2014  ·  Chris in Bloomfield, NJ

  • Great feel

March 2014  ·  ROBERT R. in WADSWORTH, IL

  • Good shirt

March 2014  ·  Steve in Denver, CO

  • Really nice shirt for both work and casual

March 2014  ·  David in Westlake Village, CA

  • Awesome. Subtle play on blue/brown. Love how light/smooth this fabric is. Small checks make this versatile for wearing in business attire as well as casual Fridays/weekends. Blue and brown are a match made in heaven.

March 2014  ·  Jason Kenneth in Toronto, Ontario

  • Works well with either a navy blue blazer and a brown sport jacket...

March 2014  ·  Peter in san jose, CA

  • nice, but a little more drab than expected

March 2014  ·  Matt in Woodside, NY

  • Great Feel

March 2014  ·  Eric in Mandeville, LA

  • Would like better if the grid lines were not as fuzzy.

February 2014  ·  Frank in Palatine, IL

  • I really like the subtle coloring, it looks like a standard pattern but up close is much more interesting.

February 2014  ·  Mark in Boulder, CO

  • Nice lightweight, breathable fabric. Makes for a great warm weather shirt.

January 2014  ·  Ian in Rockford, IL

  • Really like the versatility of this fabric. Wear with jeans, khakis at the office, or blazer.

December 2013  ·  Michael in Bristow, VA

  • Perfect

December 2013  ·  Douglas in New York, NY

  • Coffee and blue is my go to shirt, especially with jeans but great with an earth tone suit

December 2013  ·  Sean in O Fallon, MO

  • Good fabric that goes with a lot of different pants from dress to jeans. Definitely needs a good starch!

November 2013  ·  Austin in Powell, OH

  • Looks great. Good for any occasion. Medium-Light to Medium weight. Doesn\'t NEED to be ironed, but it would benefit from a quick touch-up after being laundered.

November 2013  ·  Matthew in Wheaton, IL

  • perfect match for fall fabric, wonderful fabric.

November 2013  ·  Josh in Towson, MD

November 2013  ·  Doyoung in Mexico City, CDMX

  • Perfect for the office. Looks nicer than expected

November 2013  ·  Ryan in Tempe, AZ

  • Works well with both blue and brown. Elegant, but not stuffy.

November 2013  ·  Howard in Palo Alto, CA

  • This fabric feels slightly silky. The check is MUCH tighter than the picture suggests, making it dressier than I thought. It was a welcome surprise. I got compliments from 2 different people the first time I wore it. I wore it to the office and then to an event that lasted until 9pm - no wrinkles!

November 2013  ·  Antwon in Hendersonville, TN

  • great silk like feel almost.

November 2013  ·  Robert in Memphis, TN

  • Very nice mix of colors, soft but sturdy fabric, one of my new favorites, I wear it weekly

October 2013  ·  Joel in Kensington, MD

  • The pattern is great, but the fabric feels a little stiffer (cheaper, even) than the Thomas Mason, for example. Makes sense, as this is a lower price-tier fabric, but I guess I was just surprised that you actually really could tell the difference.

October 2013  ·  John in Brooklyn, NY

  • Subtle color, nice for fall.

October 2013  ·  Barrett in PORTLAND, OR

  • Learn to mix small check shirts with plaid sportcoats

October 2013  ·  Del in Albany, GA

  • This fabric is awesome. it has a great feel, has a touch of shine, irons very well and the check patters isn\'t overwhelming (too small) or obnoxious (too large). this fabric will make a good year round shirt.

October 2013  ·  Ed in Littleton, CO

  • Good to wear with either blue or brown pants, though from a distance shirt looks a bit gray.

September 2013  ·  Tim in Ann Arbor, MI

  • Really love this fabric. It\'s a dense pattern but at conversation length you can see the checks.

July 2013  ·  John in Bloomington, IN
