“The herringbone is both nice and also both a little loud here. Being that you're dealing with both black and white, the colors stand out enough to be (for me) a tad less preferable than when the two colors are closer. Having owned several larger herringbone fabrics now, I feel there's a sweet spot where one color is dark (like the black here) and the other color is medium to dark like maybe a brown or a dark olive, so you can see some contrast (not zero) but not too much either. It's not bad though here, but it's a matter of personal taste.”
