A totally unique quality that looks and feels almost like a knit.

This piqué weave—woven just for us in Italy by the family-owned mill Grandi & Rubinelli—is what the Italians call “nido d’ape,” or “bee’s nest waffle.” It has a beautifully textured geometric structure that, along with its fine slub, subtle shine, and gentle drape, makes for a visually interesting and flattering solid shirt. A lightweight and breathable medium-weight 70s 2-ply fabric, it’s perfect for both a weekend at the beach and year-round wear. This timeless blood orange and white Bengal stripe—typically seen on business shirts—gives a fun twist to this relaxed casual fabric. And you can dress it up with navy trousers just as easily as you can throw it on with shorts.
