Fabric Description

A timeless grid for business occasions in a subtle grey and black combination. It pairs really well with a charcoal suit and can be worn year round due to it's lighter weight. Woven in Italy by Albini in a 70s single ply quality.

  • Lightweight and relatively thin. Can see the outline of a white undershirt in some circumstances.

  • Pattern looks a bit boring in person, but still good basic shirt.

  • A nice grey shirt. I did black accents and buttons with this fabric. We joke that it looks like the venerable engineers pad. Though the grid doesn\'t quite line up with any particular scale ;)

December 2014  ·  Chris in Blairsville, GA

  • Another great work choice for alternatives to blue and white

November 2014  ·  James in Chadds Ford, PA

  • Nice color and soft cloth

October 2014  ·  Dan in SAN MATEO, CA

  • A bit lighter weight than I was expecting, wrinkles a bit more than I would like but still holds up pretty well after a full day of wear. Needs an undershirt under it though for sure. Collar is a bit flimsy...when worn unbuttoned with a blazer the front collapses a bit. Colors a great...very subtle but nice.

  • looks semi-blue, but really black and gray

April 2014  ·  Frank in Palatine, IL

  • A lighter weight fabric which is perfect for the spring/summer. Design is true to the images shown. Only complaint is it\'s slightly more wrinkle prone around the elbow creases than other shirts I own.

April 2014  ·  Richard in New York, NY

  • Looks sharp. One of the best feeling shirts I have recieved from Proper Cloth.

April 2014  ·  Andrew in CHARLOTTE, NC

  • Awesome

April 2014  ·  Shaunak in Raleigh, NC

  • The pattern was a tad tighter than I expected, but I love the overall look. The tightness of the pattern gives the shirt an almost grey overall appearance rather that stark white with grid. I paired with a solid grey collar and cuff inserts and it looks great together.

April 2014  ·  Jeff in Roseville, CA

  • It\'s hard to tell online how this fabric appears

March 2014  ·  Thomas in Columbus, OH

  • again, another very good fabric for a dress shirt.
