  • easily affected by bleach when a bit was added to whole wash to brighten up load. blue color did not stay. also wrinkles a bit too easily.

  • A nice pattern to add to a dress shirt.

July 2015  ·  Nicholas in San Antonio, TX

  • Very attractive - I\'m very happy with it - but definitely appropriate to the price range. I might have imagined something slightly softer.

April 2015  ·  Alexander in New York, NY

  • Nice pattern and color.

  • This is the high-quality fabric I expected. It is great.

March 2015  ·  Christopher in Nashua, NH

  • Wrinkles easily as with all the shirts I have ordered from Propercloth. Overall, nice quality but will take a few washes to fully \"break in\".

  • One of my favorite shirts I have received from Proper Cloth! Very crisp and light weight, a great summer shirt.

  • Fantastic. Color representation is accurate.

April 2014  ·  Andrew in Conway, AR

  • I do realize that this fabric is \"pale blue\" but the blue was lighter than I thought it would be. I still like it but it is just slightly different.

February 2014  ·  Michael in Seattle, WA

  • Great fabric, can be worn with suit or casually, with or without tie.

February 2014  ·  Brett in New York, NY

  • I am partial to gingham and like this fabric a lot. I added contrasting collar/cuffs in the blue mini-gingham and it looks terrific. I wear this with a black Boss suit that has a faint blue stripe and the outfit garners a lot of compliments.

  • Not much to say about this fabric. It\'s a great pattern of average quality. Will probably order another one again when my existing shirt wears out.

  • On the light weight side, but wearing well so far.

November 2013  ·  Owen in Bristow, VA

  • Nice and sturdy fabric.

November 2013  ·  Paul in Seaside, CA

  • The fabric looks good but it feels a little thin and papery. Maybe it\'s just the finish. Generally happy but worried that it may not last too long. We will see.

October 2013  ·  Alan in DURHAM, NC

  • This is a fantastic fabric, soft and not too thin.

October 2013  ·  al in Marina del Rey, CA

  • Really nice - good color, thin and very flexible

September 2013  ·  Ben in Atlanta, GA

  • This is a great fabric. I\'m rating it a 4 instead of a 5 simply because I don\'t think the price jump between this and the other cheaper ($85) gingham\'s is warranted as the fabric seems exactly the same. The color is gorgeous - very accurately pictured on the PC website. Fabric is soft. Love it.

  • A bit stiffer than I expected, but still has a nice hand. It was a bit less pale than I was expecting as well, but still a very nice and very wearable color and pattern. The gingham checks are a great size.

  • Great light weight fabric perfect for spring/summer

May 2013  ·  Ben in BROOKLYN, NY

  • Great modern pattern and color, looks great as a work shirt or casual shirt. The fabric definitely needs a good ironing after it comes out of the wash but it doesn\'t claim to be non-iron either. Overall very happy with this fabric and would definitely buy this pattern in other colors as well.

  • I love this shirt so much I bought a second in the same fabric. I wish I could wear it every day. When I was home for Christmas, my mom ironed it for me (you know you wish your mom still did that), and she said \"Where did you get that blue checked shirt? It might be the most beautiful shirt I\'ve ever seen.\" Coming from a lady who worked on Wall St. for 10 years and married a guy who worked there for another 25 years. Knows her stuff.

February 2013  ·  Tom in Atlanta, GA

  • Great fabric, can you really ever own too much gingham?

December 2012  ·  scott in Bountiful, UT

  • Great weight, and feels crisp. The blue is quite light so the pattern is quite subtle.

December 2012  ·  Benjamin in Los Angeles, CA

  • Great color

November 2012  ·  Bob in Miami, FL

  • Love this fabric. This is my go-to spring shirt pattern..

October 2012  ·  Chris in Bloomfield, NJ

  • Super

August 2012  ·  Doug in Point Washington, FL

  • Great looking fabric and good value. This fabric is prone to shrinkage, however, so I\'d suggest adjusting the size of your shirt if ordering this fabric.

August 2012  ·  Sameer in New York, NY

  • For fair-haired gents, this gingham works day to night.

August 2012  ·  Ryan in Newburyport, MA

  • This is my 5th Proper cloth shirt. I love gingham patterns. Smooth and soft to the touch. Thickness is just right. Not too thick. Not too thin. I usually get light starch from my cleaners and that works perfectly with this material in terms of keeping wrinkles away and staying soft to the touch. Light blue is a little muted. Hard to explain, but color does not pop as much as I had hoped. Got this shirt with an english spread collar. Works with suit and tie in the office or un-tucked on the weekends with sleeves rolled up.
