Fabric Description

My new favorite plaid. Deep navy crossed by purple and gold. The peached finish is super soft and cozy. An easy go to from now till next March. Mix with gray sweater, navy peacoat, raw denim and duck boots for best results.

  • Perhaps my all-time favorite pattern.

May 2017  ·  David in Columbus, OH

  • Great plaid dress shirt. Cool with a tie.

November 2016  ·  Alexander in New York, NY

  • I like the fabric. Maybe a little more sheen than I expected with the pattern, but it\'s nice.

  • Nice

  • Interesting color palette. Not the easiest to pair with neck ties. But very striking when the right combination is found.

  • nice plaid, good winter option

July 2014  ·  Paul in New York, NY

  • Nice plaid, although I\'d prefer more brushed twill plaids. They feel nicer.

July 2014  ·  Scott in Bristol, South Gloucestershire

  • wonderful addition to the collection of Proper Cloth shirts

July 2014  ·  Craig in Laguna Niguel, CA

  • Really nice plaid, almost more of a dressy color that looks awesome with dark or raw jeans.

June 2014  ·  Michael in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

  • Great color and the weight of the fabric is very versatile.

April 2014  ·  Mike in Rochester, MN

  • A great plaid

March 2014  ·  George in New York, NY

  • I liked this fabric a lot more than I thought I would. The plaid is very unique and has a bit of a washed/very slightly faded look. Great with a solid knit tie and a pair of jeans.

March 2014  ·  Robert in Lombard, IL

  • Great ski & mountain style shirt

March 2014  ·  David in Westlake Village, CA

  • Great winter fabric. Very soft, somewhat thick. Good on its own or under a sweater. The fabric makes it a bit tacky meaning that it clings to sweaters more easily. Basically its not that smooth but not really the point for a shirt like this.

March 2014  ·  Jereme in Baltimore, MD

  • i like the weight of this fabric much more than that of other liter ones

January 2014  ·  Dean in Jersey City, NJ

  • Really nice soft fabric. Much more substantial than I was expecting (in a good way)

January 2014  ·  Kendrick in San Francisco, CA

  • Nice shirt

January 2014  ·  Arthur in Montclair, NJ

  • This is a fairly lightweight fabric though it still has a decent weight to it for a fall fabric (definitely lighter than an OCBD). It is very smooth and comfortable. It is also incredibly easy and fast to iron. Interestingly, it holds up well in repeat washings as far as color-fastness goes. It has not faded in any noticeable way thus far.

  • Colors for the autumn, looks even better with a vest on.

    November 2013  ·  Mi-Hsiu in Taipei, Taipei

  • Nice, soft fabric...really like the colors. Drapes well and it\'s tough to wrinkle.

November 2013  ·  Eric in Short Hills, NJ

  • Very comfortable fabric that feels great on the skin. However, the color is just too dark to work well as a dress shirt. Should have constructed/designed a shirt that was more casual.

November 2013  ·  Zee in Alameda, CA

  • The fabric is a little stiff but still comfortable. The color is very deep.

October 2013  ·  George in Beacon, NY

  • Nice design - it\'s distinctive. Not one of my favorite fabrics - nothing against it, but I can\'t say it stands out in my collection, either.

October 2013  ·  Josh in Wyndmoor, PA

  • A little more \'purple\' than I expected, but not off by much (like 5%, not 20%). My wife loves it and likes that I \"expanded my color palette.\"

May 2013  ·  Justin in Briarcliff Manor, NY

  • Good for fall.

December 2012  ·  Peter in Dewitt, MI

  • Wow! What a great fabric! The Mulberry Gold Plaid has a nice quality feel to it and looks better in real life. I was very pleased. Don\'t hesitate.

December 2012  ·  Dionisio in Scottsdale, AZ

  • No so soft.

November 2012  ·  Craig in DPO, AA

  • Great plaid that can work on weekends or the office. Crisp but soft feel throughout the day.

October 2012  ·  Daniel in Fairfield, CT

  • Great looking fabric that is soft to the touch. After several washes, the color fades a little and the fabric may also shrink a bit. You may want to keep this in mind when ordering.

October 2012  ·  Sameer in New York, NY

  • A wintery look but a springtime feel: medium-weight, obviously casual, but classy.

July 2012  ·  Timothy in Lincoln, MA

  • The peached finish gives this a warm, soft feel. Good fabric.

June 2012  ·  Anthony in San Antonio, TX

  • This plaid was a lot \"louder\" that I was expecting. Construction and feel is really nice though.

June 2012  ·  Mark in Springfield, IL

  • Great fabric - unique color puts in a class above the run of the mill plaids in high street stores. It has faded a fraction more than others - so consider using a dark/black wash detergent if you want them to stay the same.

June 2012  ·  Steve in Mosman, NSW

  • The best thing about this fabric is its color and pattern. The purple and yellow checks makes this a really interesting color combination. I\'m not sure if I like the \"peached\" effect, as it makes the fabric feel a little worn and flimsy.

June 2012  ·  Benjamin in Los Angeles, CA

  • I\'ve had this shirt for a long time and I have to say I really like it. The fabric is very light weight actually, and the \"peaching\" effect makes it buttery soft. It\'s an easy color to wear with jeans.
