Description

Fabric Description

With its subtle navy border, this light blue-and-white stripe broadcloth from Canclini is a stylish and refreshing update to the staid banker stripe. A 140s two-ply construction gives the fabric a luxuriously smooth and silky handfeel, while the subtle end-on-end detail on the inside of the stripe gives it beautiful detail. You can’t go wrong pairing this one with our President Spread collar—which looks great with tie or without—and long one button cuff, or go with a Soft Roma Spread to nail the elegant Italian look. This is a special, limited edition fabric from Canclini that will not be available again once it sells out.

  • Great business shirt, nice when pressed, but does wrinkle a bit more than I'd prefer.

August 2017  ·  Chertpong in Huntington Beach, CA

  • Perfect fabric for well-rounded business wardrobe. This has become a go-to fabric for me and works great with a suit and tie. I particularly like the dimension of the strip lined in a navy blue. A great all around fabric.

  • I felt like the fabric was too thin. I like a little more heft in my shirt cloth.

December 2016  ·  Thomas in Great Falls, VA

  • The fabric wasn't as soft as I had imagined for a 140s thread count. Plus, I've returned this shirt 3 times and the fit is still off.

  • The fabric was exactly as expected

April 2016  ·  Gian in Brookline, MA

  • Looks very nice, conservative with a bit of sheen, lightweight, and definitely more on the crisp side good for a slim fit rather than draping extremely well if there is excess fabric.

April 2016  ·  Vinay in Anchorage, AK

  • Great color and fabric

April 2016  ·  Emil in Brooklyn, NY

  • Great fabric and design. Pair with a solid navy grenadine for a classy office look.

April 2016  ·  Ronald in Windermere, FL

  • Flattering pattern with sharp stripes. Nice change of pace from an ordinary blue stripe.

April 2016  ·  James in Washington, DC

  • This fabric sucks. Stay away. Not only does it wrinkle so unbelievably easy it has such a weird hand feel. It\'s not soft for 140s at all. Almost feels kind of plasticky I would say. The stripes are nice but just the feel and the wrinkles detract away from the only good thing about it. I have other Canclini shirts and this is such a let down. I regret this purchase so much

April 2016  ·  Pritpal in Jersey City, NJ

  • Lightweight and very comfortable.

April 2016  ·  Charles in Chantilly, VA

  • Smooth and clean

April 2016  ·  Brian in Washington Crossing, PA

  • Nice fabric. The stripes are very sharp and clean, and the end-on-end adds a nice subtle dimension. A relatively lighter weight fabric that works nicely under a suit.

April 2016  ·  Michael in Salt Lake City, UT

  • Nice alternative to the Bengal stripe fabric.

April 2016  ·  Calvin in South Salem, NY
