Soft. Light. Textured. This oxford weave chambray is an incredibly interesting fabric. While we love a striped oxford shirt, classic hearty oxfords can weave too heavy for many in the spring and summer--which is where this fabric comes in. The breathability and soft hand feel make it ideal for when the temperature hikes up. The chambray effect is what really makes this one though. Subtle from a distance, but much more apparent up close, the chambray gives a beautiful color inconsistency to the fabric. It's this intentional imperfection that makes shirts cut from this fabric feel so special and unique. This fabric is woven using a 70/1 x 70/1 thread count in Italy by Albini. Opt for a soft collar and cuff with this one--our Soft Roma Cutaway is ideal for a dressier look and the Soft Ivy BD is best for more casual wear. Note this fabric is extremely limited edition and will not be reordered once it sells out.

I wore it with a knit tie and blazer to the city. It works. It\'s the most versatile patterned shirt I own. Fabric is super soft, breathes easy, and after about 10 washes it\'s getting a perfect slight \'saltiness\' to the blue which I love. The very subtle horizontal slub sets it far ahead of the competition in my opinion.”
