A smooth and silky fabric for the height of summer.

Tencel™ is an eco-friendly fiber with incredible performance characteristics. It's made from wood pulp, uses 80% less water than cotton to grow, and is certified by the European eco-label Oeko-Tex 100 as containing low levels of manufacturing chemicals and byproducts. Tencel™ takes color beautifully when dyed, has a beautiful smoothness and drape that feels like silk, and unlike silk it's machine washable. What's not to love? This fresh, bright white is a summer must. We love it in a short-sleeve style, worn tucked or untucked.

Recommended Styling: Since this fabric has a very silky hand, we recommend going with soft details all around. A Camp collar and short sleeves will make an easygoing summer shirt you won’t want to take off.

“I love the fabric. The fabric drapes nicely. It is soft against your skin. You can wash it in a hotel sink, hang it up, and wear it the next day. There is one short coming. If you machine wash the shirt, the seams will pucker badly. However you do not have to iron the shirt for the cloth to be wrinkle free. Hand wash and hang up in the shower stall, and the next morning you are good to go. If you are traveling in a hot place, e.g. Mexico, or the Carribean, and have little room for luggage, this IS your shirt.”
