“The texture of this fabric is subtle enough to be unnoticeable from a short distance. That said, I would go with a broadcloth or twill for the most formal in-person meetings. I was disappointed that I had not caught that the fabric is synthetic before purchasing a shirt made of it. That said, the fabric works well for frequent Zoom meetings (no need for elaborate / costly wash and press with each wear). I also expect that when travel resumes, this will be a great business travel shirt due to easy care when one needs to pack light. In the end, it turns out that I had been looking for a professional-looking easy-care shirt from the inception of the pandemic but had never given thought to one made from synthetic fibers. A smart yet inadvertent purchase.”

“Probably my favorite fabric at Proper Cloth. This shirt is really classy and looks great as a stand alone. Really unique fabric and construction. Typically I like wearing performance under my suit but I find myself always coming back to this shirt to wear with no jacket and on it's own. “This is an interesting fabric. It is a bit stretchy, soft, with a fairly heavily textured knit. This is a polyester shirt, and must be ironed VERY carefully. I ruined mine with a hot iron (ruined the iron too). Read the fabric care instructions carefully.”
