This refined 100s two-ply broadcloth (sometimes known as poplin) is a great weekday workhorse. It’s lightweight, smooth, and crisp, and is washed with our special casual wash to give it a more broken-in feel than your typical broadcloth fabric. It makes the perfect sport shirt—versatile, and easygoing yet elevated. This slate stripe is an absolute classic. We love it with a navy chino, but it really goes with anything.

Casual Wash: Shirts cut in this fabric are washed after being sewn. This process gives the shirt a softer, broken-in feel with puckering around the seams.

“It's nice and light on the skin, very crisp hand, and I appreciate the versatility of the bold stripes with the mid blue. You could wear this under a suit just as easily as tucked into a pair of light-wash denim; however, it does seem more wrinkle prone than my other Proper Cloth shirts of similar thickness.”
