A beautiful light blue fine check that's a timeless wardrobe staple. We specially developed this Thomas Mason Goldline quality, the storied Italian mill's top shelf offering, with an exclusive wrinkle-resistant finish. These are the most luxurious wrinkle-resistant fabrics Thomas Mason has ever made. Period. And Proper Cloth is the only place you'll find it. This twill draws its nearly divine smoothness from the Giza 45 Egyptian cotton—the building block of Goldline—as well as its 140s 2-ply construction. Due to its extra-long staple and ultra fineness, Giza 45 makes up into fabrics that combine exceptional softness and smooth handfeel with unparalleled durability. (As a result Giza 45 is among the most coveted fibers in the world, and it’s highly rare, to boot.) This fine twill is incredibly soft and drapes really nicely (read: looks great under a jacket), and the twill weave gives it just a pinch of shine that brings out a lovely vibrance in the blue. Choose a President Spread or the Roma Cutaway (for the slightly bolder), and definitely upgrade to tall or Australian mother-of-pearl buttons to complement the fabric’s luxuriousness.
