Teton Dark Brown Flannel Fabric

$105

Description

Fabric Description

A versatile cold weather fabric that's as soft as can be--it's sort of an overshirt weight fabric. The secret to the fabric is its 70% cotton / 30% tencel blend. Tencel is an organic fiber taken from tree pulp that is actually smoother than cotton, giving the fabric a really great handfeel. The rich chocolate brown color is perfect with a pair of cords or broken in jeans. Try designing it with a Colorado BD or Soft President Spread collar.

  • Way too heavy for my taste. Only dark brown to select at the time.

August 2019  ·  Jeffery in Anaheim, CA

  • A bit dull and the colour washes out quickly,

January 2019  ·  David in Thonex,

  • This made a really fine looking shirt. Very soft and luxurious feel and look to it.

July 2017  ·  Steve in Oak Park, IL

July 2017  ·  Scot in SAN FRANCISCO, CA

July 2017  ·  Kevin in Linden, TN

  • Nice fabric. Excellent color. A little thick for hot States.

June 2017  ·  Joshua in SAN JOSE, CA

  • This flannel is actually a little too thick for my taste. I live in the south, though.

April 2017  ·  Robert in Olive Branch, MS

  • Nice flannel fabric and color

March 2017  ·  Zachary in Englewood, NJ

  • The fabric was thick, doesn't really wrinkle. Very warm

February 2017  ·  Giuliano in Warren, NJ

  • I received a lot of "shirt envy" when wearing this. I dressed in up with a white collar and cuffs, and wore it with a camel hair jacket.

February 2017  ·  Scott in Upper Saddle River, NJ

  • Nice chocolate feel and color!

February 2017  ·  Kedrick in New York, NY

  • A very dark brown. Fabric feels like a light/medium flannel. Looks best with horn buttons. Can dress it up or down.

January 2017  ·  Kevin in Alamo, CA

  • Material stands out with a quality appearance and comfortable/soft feel.

January 2017  ·  Mike in Hot Springs Village, AR

  • Shrug. I found the colour a little flat in person.

January 2017  ·  Karl in Delta, BC

  • Extremely soft and thick winter fabric. The color appears to be much darker than the photos (could be confused for black), but still very attractive.

December 2016  ·  Kevin in SEATTLE, WA

  • deep brown looks great!

December 2016  ·  Greg in New York, NY

  • Great twill flannel.

December 2016  ·  Douglas in Alpharetta, GA

  • Didn't previously have one like this. It's cool.

December 2016  ·  William in CHICAGO, IL

  • No surprises.

December 2016  ·  William in Knoxville, TN

  • Love the color. Haven't been able to find this color in this kind of fabric anywhere else. Even at brick and mortar MTM stores near where I live.

December 2016  ·  Philippe in Bekkestua, Akershus

  • Very nice, soft feel and rich (almost eggplant type tint) color. A nice change from the regular rotation of whites, blues and greys. However, the tag on the received garment read 70% cotton, 30% linen, which is different than the fabric makeup described on the site. Not sure what accounts for the discrepancy, or if the shirt will wear cooler based on this.

November 2016  ·  Walter in Geneva, FL

  • Looks great . . . a rich deep brown.

October 2016  ·  Stuart in Washington, DC

  • Just more classic flannel.

October 2016  ·  Richard in Randolph, NJ

  • Very comfortable fabric albeit not very resistant to wrinkles. Even for a more casual shirt it definitely needs to be pressed after laundering.

June 2016  ·  Alexander in Ossining, NY

  • I love how heavy and substantial this shirt feels. Nothing unexpected. Very good value! This is old world quality.

March 2016  ·  chris in Brazil, IN

  • It\'s a little more saturated than I expected from the pictures. Other than that, the fabric is great like the other teton flannels.

March 2016  ·  Terry in Burlington, VT

  • I have not yet received this shirt (balance of my first order).

January 2016  ·  Joshua in WASHINGTON, DC

  • Nice solid flannel with good feel and texture for winter.

January 2016  ·  Peter in Odessa, FL

  • I really do love this fabric! I\'ve thought of buying a 2nd one. It\'s very soft and the color shade is very subtle. This\'s exactly what I was looking for in the first place.

January 2016  ·  Nicolas in Edina, MN

  • Good casual cold weather fabric

December 2015  ·  David in New York, NY

  • Love it. The teton flannel feels and moves excellently.

November 2015  ·  James in Portland, ME

  • This fabric is exactly as pictured. It is incredibly smooth, and is fairly thick. This is a fall/winter/early spring fabric. As other reviews noted, it does shrink considerably. PC does a mostly good job planning on that. The shoulders on mine felt much better pre-wash, and the cuffs are slightly tight. Overall, it is a casual fabric and you should not get this without adding .25\" at your midsection. I\'d buy again.

October 2015  ·  Peter in Danbury, CT

  • Super comfortable and warm fabric, highly recommend!!

    September 2015  ·  Paul-Andrew in Brooklyn, NY

  • Heavy, but I like how it feels.

August 2015  ·  Darren in Newport Beach, CA

  • As expected. Deep, rich brown color. Soft. Very nice.

March 2015  ·  Brian in New York, NY

  • shrinks a bit more than expected - add a bit to sleeve length if you plan to put in dryer :)

February 2015  ·  Andrew in SAN FRANCISCO, CA

  • This fabric is very comfortable. The color is rich and beautiful and it actually gives off hints of another, darker color (maybe a dark, dark navy?) under certain light.

February 2015  ·  Daniel in West Palm Beach, FL

  • This is a really great flannel. Dark rich color. Super comfortable. Fits nicely under a wool flannel blazer.
