The perfect 3-season linen from 120-year-old mill Tessuti di Sondrio.

This 26s single-ply fabric has a particular heft to it that you don’t often find in 100% linen, putting it firmly at the intersection of substantial and breathable. Layer it under sweaters and sport coats in spring and fall, or in place of a white dress shirt to add some interest and texture. The subtle contrast among the shades of grey in this intricate Prince of Wales check pattern increases the fabric’s versatility, too. It gives a nonchalant yet refined impression to a casual look. “Terrific casual-but-elegant three season fabric. Nice heft, but still cool enough for summer in Seattle. I got one in long sleeve and one in short sleeve, for year-round use. The subtle tonal variations really elevate the fabric, and the light gray color looks great with absolutely everything. Yeah, it wrinkles, but that's linen. I hang dry and don't iron for a relaxed, lived-in look.”
