In our minds, there's no situation in which you can't wear an oxford cloth button down (OCBD). There are times, however, when a pure cotton oxford wears a bit too warm. Our solution: the cotton and linen oxford.

This 55% cotton/45% linen blend breathes incredibly well while retaining the substantial feel of a classic oxford weave. The fabric has a bit of slub from the linen which gives it beautiful texture and character, and it’s more durable than most cotton/linen blends, too. Expect it to age phenomenally and become your go-to warm-weather shirt. This rosy pink and white stripe is a real eye-catcher that pairs well with jeans, chinos, and shorts on hot days.

Recommended Styling: For a classic OCBD, go with our Soft Ivy Button Down collar, Soft Front placket, and Soft Long One Button cuff. For something a little more polished, go with our Soft President Spread collar and no placket.

Oxford Cloth: A hard-wearing fabric with chameleon-like versatility. Oxford cloth is heavier than business dress shirt fabrics—subtly textured and highly durable, it only gets better the more you wear and wash it. It's a true classic of American style.
