A super soft blend featuring cozy cashmere.

This soft blend of cotton and cashmere comes to us from our favorite Portuguese mill, Somelos. It’s woven with beautiful melange yarns into a smooth twill weave, creating a wonderfully warm and refined quality. The surface is brushed lightly so the fabric maintains a sophisticated look that goes well with both suiting and chinos. In this dark grey melange it makes a great layering piece that will keep you cozy throughout the cold months of the year, as well as a dress shirt alternative with tailored pieces.

“I initially bought a light grey and after a few wears bought this second color. I like the feel and fit. It does shrink more than the shrinkage allowances account for, particularly in the sleeves. (I sized up an extra half an inch on the sleeves, and a quarter on the bottom). It will have wrinkles, even if you hang dry, so expect that going in if you buy.”

“PC says "Medium Heavyweight" - not. It's very light, yet fuzzy like a flannel. Very soft. I'm just not sure when I could wear something like this, because it isn't warm enough for the winter and grey is too cool for spring. I'll make it work with a vest or other layers.”

“LOVE this fabric! Very lightweight and breathable, but looks more substantial. It looks like a winter fabric but is very lightweight. I love the thinness but understand it is not a thick winter shirt. Out of the washer, it wrinkles like crazy. But easy to iron and holds the press well. Very, very soft.”
