A lighthearted micro floral print on a smooth and stretchy organic cotton blend.

Woven with a 50s single-ply broadcloth construction that's perfect for highly detailed prints, this fabric is lightweight and crisp without feeling too delicate and features elastane for comfort and stretch. The print consists of myriad buttercup flowers in shades of purple, brown, yellow, and blue, all arranged on a crisp white ground. The flowers are simple in shape, so it’s not immediately obvious that the pattern is a floral until it’s viewed up close. It’s a lovely, eye-catching fabric that's also surprisingly versatile. Wear it in place of a solid or check shirt and style it casually with chinos, or pair it with a suit or dress pants to give a smart look a bit of flair.

“I had to update this, because this shirt shrunk a ton after one wash. I have ordered many shirts of different fabrics from Proper Cloth, and this shrunk the most after one wash by far. I can't recommend it for that reason unless you get a noticeably bigger size than normal.”

“Great material. Definitely feels like cotton but it is a very nice sheen to to that gives it a rich look. It does not have as much stretch as a hoped for. I ordered a very tailored cut, including in the sleeves. If I do a 5-roll (above the elbow) roll on the sleeves, it is a bit tight. It works, but I definitely wish there was more stretch. That said, the pattern is amazing. I get many compliments when wearing.”
