Fabric Description
A truly incredible indigo plaid flannel that we had produced just for us in a small mill in Japan. We love the vintage look on this hearty 20/1 x 20/1 brushed twill. The fabric is woven on vintage American shuttle looms in Japan and is delivered to us in as rigid, dark indigo. We cut and sew the shirts in this raw indigo fabric and use a particularly heavy garment wash on this shirt to achieve the particularly light, faded blue color.
It's this special process that gives the shirt its remarkably soft hand feel and the fading around the seams that we love. While garment washed denim shirts are a popular product in the ready-to-wear market, they haven't previously been available in a custom fit or design due to the bulk production required for the washing process. We've worked closely with our suppliers to offer the first truly custom garment washed denim shirts on the market, allowing such a great style to be produced in your custom size.
