Japanese Faded Green Terry Cloth Knit Fabric

A vintage-inspired casual knit with an eternal-summer vibe.

This soft terry cloth is knitted from a premium cotton/poly blend that boasts the absorbent comfort the fabric is famous for. Terry cloth is what your towels are made from—a special weave with tiny loops all over one side of the fabric. The pulling technique—”tirer” in French—that makes these loops gives terry fabric its name. Ours has a very low pile and an open knit that allows for extra breathability and a beautiful drape. Picture Sean Connery circa Goldfinger. Think easy poolside elegance, a bit of ’70s heat. If you’re not actually by the pool, pair this faded green version with linen trousers or lightweight chinos.

Recommended Styling: Short sleeve is the way to go. Our Camp Collar will give it a retro vibe, while our Two-Button Polo front and Soft English Spread collar give prep a bit of a funky edge. Either way, choose our Coconut Shell buttons.
