Woven with a 60s single-ply construction, this lightweight broadcloth has a smooth, buttery finish that feels much more luxurious than its price point might suggest. It’s the perfect weight for year-round wear—on its own, or under a sweater or jacket—and though it is lightweight it doesn’t feel delicate. The purple and blue end-on-end check is subtly varied, and the pattern’s mid-size scale makes it easy to wear. This fabric makes a shirt that will take you from a business-casual office setting to weekend activities seamlessly.

Recommended Styling: Try it with our President Spread collar, no placket, and Long One Button cuff, or go for our Button Down collar with a Standard Front placket for a more traditional look.

“The Irving End on End Check is a great pattern, but I was disappointed with this material. It is described as "fairly opaque," but I think it should have been listed as "slightly transparent" given that the sleeve and cuff look notably different (as the cuff is two layers). The fabric is also thin and just feels cheap compared to other Proper Cloth options. I'd love to see this pattern on a higher quality fabric.”
