Faded Olive Cotton Lyocell Stretch Corduroy Fabric

$175

Description

Fabric Description

A fine Italian corduroy with a silky finish and extra stretch.

Woven from a blend of stretch cotton and lyocell, this Italian corduroy is a substantial yet refined quality that’s easy to dress up or down. The 20-wale texture leans to the more sophisticated end of the casual spectrum, adding understated dimension and depth that’s only visible up close. This fabric has quite a bit of give thanks to the 3% elastane and flexibility of lyocell, providing considerable stretch while maintaining a good amount of structure. Wear this faded olive shade untucked with jeans and sneakers, or tuck it into green wool dress pants for a tonal look with a relaxed tailored vibe. However you choose to style it, it’ll make a unique and comfortable addition to your cold-weather wardrobe.

Recommended Styling: For a versatile casual look, try this one with our Soft English Spread collar, Soft Front placket, and Long One Button cuff. Choose a Straight hem for an even more casual edge. If you want to lean into the refined character of this fabric, opt for no placket.

  • Have only laundered once. A tip that you may consider adding to the description with this corduroy fabric is to turn the shirt inside out to iron. Especially with the snap buttons, this technique makes for an easier ironing process and better result with fabric.

May 2024  ·  Peter in London, England

  • The corduroy fabric is a little bit different than what I was expecting, but not in a bad way. I haven't worn corduroy since the 1970's and had forgotten how its changes colour when rubbed against something.

  • It's very comfortable and looks great on me. I would prefer a fabric that's 100% natural (no synthetic for "stretch") but all things considered, I like it.
