“I had a shirt made in this DJA Sea Island broadcloth to wear on my wedding day. This fabric is over-the-top nice; it looks and feels a lot like silk. That said, a material this fine and expensive, especially in white, is something I'll be scared to wear too often, and fabrics here at half the price are already super nice. I'm happy with the purchase, but I'm a bit of a romantic about materials.
White shirts being limited by collars and cuffs that eventually get dingy, I could see it being a smarter move for most white shirt wearers to buy shirts at half the price and replace them twice as often.”
