Canclini Red Micro Check Fabric

$135 $100

Description

Fabric Description

An incredibly smooth, lighweight business check made with tiny alternating red and navy grids. The multi color pattern gives it a really interesting look, yet the micro pattern looks super subtle in full shirt. The fabric is woven in Italy with an 80/1 x 80/1 compact broadcloth construction, which allows for such sharp pattern clarity. Please note that this is an extremely limited-edition fabric that will not be available once it's sold out--once it's gone, it's gone!

  • So nice, and fabric is soft. The pattern is really neat and gives off a more casual feel. I did this one with an oxford collar and I like that I can dress it up or down.

  • Nice fabric but color looks very washed out.

March 2017  ·  Ricardo in Pittsford, NY

  • Good fabric, not very warm wearing, but nice detail in the pattern.

October 2016  ·  Andrew in Chicago, IL

  • I bought this wondering how it would come off as a purple from a distance, and to a limited extent, it does. I like wearing it with a navy sweater in cooler weather, with a navy blazer, or just as a shirt.

  • I love this pattern. I wear it a lot.

April 2016  ·  David in Austin, TX

  • Not the softest of fabrics, but a very unique color that fits into my wardrobe.

March 2016  ·  Brett-Riley in New York, NY

March 2016  ·  Addison in Brooklyn, NY

  • Great fabric

January 2016  ·  Douglas in Charlestown, MA

  • Fabric wrinkles easily. Subtle pattern looks almost purple.

December 2015  ·  jeff in New York, NY

  • strong colors in the fabric make this an interesting shirt material.... grid is small enough to \"blend\" from a distance and not be too visually demanding, but the color strength and mix assert themselves at close range. Perfect for some settings, does require care with tie selection

December 2015  ·  Eric in Philadelphia, PA

  • Looks almost pink from farther away.

December 2015  ·  Nathan in New York, NY

  • This is more purple than red, very close to lavender.

October 2015  ·  Albert in Tempe, AZ

  • good thickness, texture and colour. Recommended

October 2015  ·  Gopal in London,

  • It\'s the smoothest softest cotton that has ever touched my skin.

October 2015  ·  Matt in Sharpsburg, PA

  • Fabric is light and has a very smooth hand, has a tendency to wrinkle and is hard to iron. Needs to go to the shirt laundry and get a bit of starch to stay sharp.

October 2015  ·  Troy in Brighton, CO

  • Fabric was on sale not terribly impressed with it

September 2015  ·  david in Lyndhurst, OH

  • beautiful fabric with subtle pattern

September 2015  ·  Brandon in Chicago, IL

  • Nice fabric, from any sort of distance looks more purple than red, but a nice tight pattern.

September 2015  ·  Karl in Allen, TX

  • Loved it

September 2015  ·  Lou in New York, NY

  • Great light fabric, recommended for casual wear

September 2015  ·  Brian in Rocky River, OH

  • Understated. Good for dress with a solid tie or casual without.

September 2015  ·  John in Coral Gables, FL

  • Great fabric

August 2015  ·  Justin in Kansas City, MO

  • In close up, like the picture on the web site, the fabric definitely looks red. But standing more than 2 feet away the colors blend to look lavender. It is still a very nice shirt but I would have liked the red to be the more dominant color.

August 2015  ·  Chris in Jackson, NJ

  • terrific

August 2015  ·  Mike in Dedham, MA

  • New favorite shirt!

August 2015  ·  Robert in Brooklyn, NY

  • once I got it in a shrit i thought it looked a little cheap. PC has much better selections in red checks...

August 2015  ·  Nathan in New York, NY

  • Very comfortable fabric.

August 2015  ·  Max in Fair Lawn, NJ

  • From a distance of more than 3 ft this looks lavender, the closeups are a bit deceiving. I was going for that so I don\'t mind. The fabric is thin and tends to wrinkle easily at the elbows.

July 2015  ·  Jeremy in Greece, NY

  • Smooth and light, nice check pattern and color.

    July 2015  ·  R in Blaine, WA

  • Very nice, good quality material. Matches many different color ties.

July 2015  ·  Dionisio in Scottsdale, AZ

  • Very crisp, high quality feel. The pattern is quite fine (blue checks are around 1mm across) so this is easy to match with a tie.

June 2015  ·  Marko in Vancouver, BC

  • Meh, I think this one will be tougher to match with suiting and ties than I thought when I bought it. Nothing unexpected, just not well thought out on my end

June 2015  ·  Jeff in Westport, CT

  • Very nice fabric, pattern looks just like a lightish red from afar

June 2015  ·  Gram in Coconut Grove, FL

  • The pattern is really cool and it works exceptionally well with contrast colors. It\'s thin and oh-so-supple. I went with the MOP buttons, so I ended up with a high end business shirt. I would not recommend it for a casual shirt you expect to wear frequently.

May 2015  ·  Blaise in Los Gatos, CA

  • Great but less formal looking than I thought

May 2015  ·  David in Village of Pelham, NY

  • It wrinkles easily, but it\'s a very rare fabric that does not. Overall I like it. It is softer and lighter than the cheaper fabrics I have tried, and that makes it both appear nicer and feel more comfortable to wear. It is entirely opaque, so no worries about it being too revealing.

  • I love how subtle the mirco check is, and again very soft and comfortable shirt.

March 2015  ·  Keith in Brooklyn, NY

  • beautiful fabric

March 2015  ·  Gary in HOUSTON, TX

  • great quality as usual

December 2014  ·  simon in Unionville, Unionville

  • Relatively lightweight. I was afraid the check pattern would be loud and distracting, but it hardly appears checked from even 2 meters away. Without a tie, it comes across as purple, but you can bring out the red or the blue with a tie. Love it.

December 2014  ·  Vincent in Pittsford, NY

  • Love!

November 2014  ·  Victor in Oakhurst, NJ

  • Awesome. Thanks
