An incredibly soft linen blend from Italy's Canclini.
This mid-weight cotton and linen blend, woven in Italy by renowned mill Canclini, makes an incredibly soft casual fabric. It’s full of texture, with a pronounced twill weave and a touch of the slub that gives linen its wonderful character. It’s also much softer than you’d expect a linen blend to be, with a hint of fuzziness to its finish. While linen tends to be prone to wrinkling, the high cotton content in this blend helps to combat that a bit. It’s breathable yet substantial, with great warm-weather comfort. This navy, which we’ve called “sun washed” to capture the particular lived-in appeal provided by our casual wash, is the kind of neutral that fits into almost any color palette and style. It’s equally at home on the beach and with chinos, and makes a laidback choice with spring and summer dress pants.
Recommended Styling: Go for soft details across the whole shirt. Our Soft President Spread collar, no placket, and Soft Long One Button cuff with Slate Horn buttons make a versatile combo.
Casual Wash: Shirts cut in this fabric are washed after being sewn. This process gives the shirt a softer, broken-in feel with puckering around the seams.
