A luxe warm-weather oxford from Canclini,

In our minds, there’s no situation in which you can't wear an oxford cloth button down (OCBD). There are times, however, when a pure cotton oxford wears a bit too warm. Our solution: the cotton and linen oxford. This one is woven from a blend of 57% cotton and 43% linen that comes to us from the casual fabric experts at Canclini in Italy. It’s significantly more breathable than your classic pure cotton version, and it’s very soft, as well—even softer than our signature Portuguese cotton and linen oxfords, thanks to its 80s single-ply construction. That irregular linen texture is still unmistakeable, though. Expect it to age well and become a regular in your warm-weather shirt rotation. This faded copper shade is a unique neutral that can be worn just as easily untucked with shorts as tucked into linen trousers.

Recommended Styling: Go with our Soft Ivy Button Down collar for a classic oxford look, or our Soft English Spread for a more modern vibe. We’re partial to a no placket/long sleeve design for this one.

“I was looking for something in the pink spectrum that wasn't overly vibrant. This looked great, but to be honest it's not my favorite. Cool summer fabric, and much lighter weight than other linen blends, but not in a good way. It just makes it that much more prone to wrinkling. The color isn't as versatile as I hoped.”
