A refined oxford fabric with a classic gingham pattern.

This 50s single-ply oxford is much lighter than traditional oxford fabrics. It‘s a pinpoint oxford, with a refined, smooth hand that gives it great versatility. The mid-size gingham pattern leans a little more to the casual side, but it’s easily paired with tailored pieces to create looks that don’t take themselves too seriously. You can’t go wrong with jeans or chinos, either. This brown is a good one to have on hand for fall weekends and business casual looks. The combination of the classic pattern and earthy color have a nice seasonal feel.

Recommended Styling: Our President Spread collar, Standard Front placket, and Mother of Pearl buttons make a shirt you can dress up or down. Go without a placket for something a little more sleek.

“Brown is a great color for gingham. I like this fabric a lot, but It is a bit unrefined, so it is definitely casual only. I would recommend getting a sample before making a shirt from it. I am happy with the fabric but it is not quite what I expect. This fabric is somewhat heavy and opaque, which neither good or bad--just a fact.”
