The print features traditional Hawaiian motifs like surfers, fishermen, celebrations, and local flora and fauna in oranges, greens, and yellows on a deep blue ground. We think viscose—a type of rayon that feels like cotton and looks like silk—is the perfect canvas for this print, since it was one of the original Aloha shirt fabrics. For good reason, too—its smoothness and light weight made it one of the most comfortable options available for residents of the steamy Hawaiian islands. This version’s 40s single-ply plain weave construction creates a luxuriously soft hand and smooth drape. Wear it every way from untucked with shorts to tucked into chinos with a jacket.
