“Impressive and cosmopolitan for a flannel. Not too thick but substantial. The plaid is not too overwhelming. The shirt looks almost solid medium gray from a distance since the black and white texture blends in the eye but shows off the black and white lines that define the texture when up close. This makes a shirt that is cosmopolitan and warm but not too warm or thick. It is a soft fabric and not coarse at all. I’m still wearing this shirt as long as I can in the spring until I have to put it away for the hot summer months.
Update: August 2021. I haven't worn this shirt for a few months because it really is a warm shirt. The shirt holds its shape well after a few washes. It does continue to shrink after two or three washes. It is still within the tolerances I set in the measurements.”
