An incredibly fine chambray from Italy.
This 50s single-ply chambray from legendary mill Albini is a unique casual fabric for spring through fall. Breathable and made from 100% cotton, it has a slightly open weave that allows for more airflow during the warmer months of the year. The yarns in the weft of the fabric provide a striated visual texture across the soft, smooth surface of the classic slate color, while vertical stripes of blue geometric and dotted ribbons accent the varied fabric with even more interest. Go short sleeve or long—this fabric works well with both casual and tucked-into-trousers looks.
Recommended Styling: We love this one as a short sleeve Camp shirt with Roma buttons, but for a more refined approach try a long sleeve shirt with our Soft Roma Spread collar, no placket, and Slate Horn buttons.
