We took a western-inspired ombre plaid typically seen on flannel shirts and reinterpreted it in 100% linen making it perfect for summer. This truly unique fabric is woven at Albini in Italy using a 23s single-ply herringbone twill weave. Linen is naturally cool to the touch, breathes incredibly well and is highly absorbent making it the ideal fabric for warmer temperatures. It's naturally more prone to wrinkles, but this is part of linen's charm and more casual appeal. We love how the crisp white and light grey of this plaid blend into one another for a beautiful ombre effect. Try this one with a Soft Franklin Spread or Soft President Spread for an eye-catching casual shirt.

“This is a richly woven linen and the color/pattern is extraordinary. After the first wash, it still feels a bit stiff and coarse, but it should soften as it ages, keeping the body of the fabric while improving the drape. The color and pattern looks great in a Western style.”
