Albini Blue Linen and Tencel Herringbone Fabric

A soft and lightweight blend with a sophisticated edge.

Featuring the silky, moisture-wicking performance of Tencel™ and the breathability of linen, this fabric is a uniquely comfortable option for staying cool during the warmest months of the year. It has an easy drape and features blue yarns in the warp and white yarns in the weft to create a subtle pattern within the herringbone weave. Herringbone is typically associated with more formal fabrics, so its combination with this loose 30s two-ply construction makes for an elevated casual fabric. Note that this fabric also features considerable shine. Wear it untucked with chinos or tuck it into linen trousers.

Recommended Styling: Try it with our Camp collar, no placket, and Mother of Pearl buttons for an easygoing retro long sleeve look. For something a little more versatile, go with a Soft Semi Spread collar.

“Fantastic material! This is a very lightweight material, making it excellent for summer wear. It has a nice "sheen" to it. Normally, linen is mat or "dull." It is also a little "stiff". But, this material is exceptionally supple with a wonderful weight. Very breathable. Looks "thick" but it exceptionally light. Holds a press much better than "normal" linen. Depending on the design, this can be made to look more like a formal shirt. I have actually worn this under a coat. However, I normally wear it as more of a business casual. LOVE the material!”
