Proper Cloth has become my go-to for shirting--both business and casual. I've ordered dozens of them and with rare exception the experience has been outstanding. And in those rare instances of mistakes, PC was quick with a make-right.

Fabric is great. However, I went for multiple “fittings” but the shirt is still not fit correctly. I have better fitting shirts from off the rack for 30% less. Takes too long to get wrong.

Proper Cloth has been great. You are one of the only manufacturers to still supply a true broadcloth, button down shirt with a non no-iron option. And the custom nature of the clothes means an exact fit, for a very reasonable cost. My first shirt was not quite perfect -- I used the smart sizing option -- but perfect for the second.

Shopping at Proper has become risky. As different fabrics fit and drape differently, it’s difficult to judge what size adjustments to make. The fit advice is unreliable and Proper Cloth counts their own mistakes against their customers. I prefer to try on in person for security of the product I’m purchasing.

So Proper Cloth exceeds my expectations again. I lost 35 pounds and obviously my shirt size changed. So i was a little nervous about getting my new shirt. It was perfect. The Mayfair fabric is my favorite. Proper Cloth is the only shirtmaker with consistently high quality shirts every time.

I had a very good experience with Proper Cloth. However, I felt that the website could improve its color selection, and choosing the fabric was somewhat challenging. I also think the packaging for delivery could be better than the paper wrap that the shirts currently come in. While the shirt itself is exceptional, I believe both the website and the packaging upon arrival could use some improvement.
