Since we launched our TechKnit Mask we’ve made several improvements to its design. You’ll note that different versions of the mask are available on our site, identifiable by the “v1.2,” for example, in the product name. Here you’ll find an explanation of the differences among them and the specifications of each.
Version 1 (v1.0)
This was the first batch of TechKnit masks we produced. These masks feature an over-the-ear elastic band design with adjuster pieces and sewn-in filter.
TechKnit Mask v1.0 and v1.1 Dimensions
Version 1.1 (v1.1E and v1.1H)
This version of the TechKnit Mask is identical in its dimensions to Version 1.0, but we’ve reduced bulk at the outer edges to improve the fit along the sides of the mask. We also added an over-the-head elastic band option.
Version 1.2 (v1.2E and v1.2H)
We heard your feedback on v1.0 and v1.1. For v1.2 we increased the size and updated shape of the masks to improve fit and better follow the contours of the face. The new exterior fabric is 100% Italian performance jersey knit, and a new sewn-in filter boasts BFE ≥99% and PFE ≥95% certification. These masks are available with around-the-ear and over-the-head elastic bands.
