For a bolder look, one might want to consider a cutaway collar in addition to the more popular spread collar. On the cutaway, the collar points will finish even farther apart (6 3/8″ to be exact, on the President Cutaway pictured above) than the spread collar.

Due to the extreme angle, cutaway collars make more of a statement than spread collars. Generally, spread collars are a safer choice if you’re working in a traditional office environment.
