Suggested Size Adjustments – Shirt Size Update June 4, 2020

We’ve launched exciting new improvements to our custom shirt sizing. The major changes these improvements make are:

  1. Tenth inch (0.1″) increments for all shirt dimensions.
  2. More consistent bottom button distance for all shirt lengths.
  3. Better alignment of front and back shirttails for sizes with posture adjustments.

If you ordered a shirt with a size that included a posture adjustment prior to June 4th, 2020, reordering with that size will result in a different Shirt Front Length on the new shirts from the older shirts.

With the Shirt Front Length changing, even though the Shirt Back Length stays the same, the overall length of the shirt will likely feel different.

To maintain an overall length that feels consistent with shirts you’ve ordered in the past, we suggest customers with sizes that include posture adjustments make the following size adjustments:

    • If your size has Neck Forward 1”, increase Shirt Back Length by 1”
    • If your size has Neck Forward 0.5”, increase Shirt Back Length by 0.5”
    • If your size has Neck Back 1”, decrease Shirt Back Length by 1”
    • If your size has Neck Back 0.5”, decrease Shirt Back Length by 0.5”

Why did we make this update? So we can ensure perfect alignment of the front and back shirttails for a more attractive untucked fit.
