We love plaid linen shirts for summer, so we teamed up with our favorite Portuguese mill to create the perfect combination of quality, pattern, and color.

Linen has an airy, open weave that breathes incredibly well, and its naturally cool feel and ability to keep you dry make it a summer essential if there ever was one. This 24s single-ply fabric is incredibly lightweight and soft, yet it still maintains that signature linen texture. Keep in mind that linen’s wrinkle-prone nature is part of its charm; don't worry about pressing it—just let it look well-worn and relaxed. The eye-catching neutral combination of reddish brown and bright white in this subtly detailed plaid works with just about everything from jeans or shorts to chinos and a jacket.

Recommended Styling: Go for soft details across the whole shirt. Our Soft English Spread collar, soft placket, and Soft Long One Button cuff make a great combo. Short sleeves will make it a full-on summer shirt.

Casual Wash: Shirts cut from this fabric are washed after being sewn. This process gives the shirt a softer, broken-in feel with puckering around the seams.

“This is a great fabric. It breaths really well. A slight breeze or ceiling fan cools you right through the shirt. Being linen it does wrinkle. But I like the slightly wrinkled casual look most of the time. It also irons really well if you want a crisper look.”
