Navy Chambray Fabric
$130
Description
Fabric Description
This navy chambray-cotton fabric is soft to the touch with a dark navy color and specks of white threads. It has a heaviness to it that feels strong and durable and a nice sheen. Very on-trend. Will definitely play a part in our upcoming collections.

“I think this shirt was cut with extra buffer for shrinkage, but it never shrunk that much and ended up fitting a bit worse than my other PC shirts.”

“Through a few washes it has held up in appearance and size. It is remarkably wrinkle resistant. My only complaint would be that it is a bit thicker/warmer then I\'d like, but otherwise its pretty great.”

“The fabric is nice. It had a bit of a sheen to it initially, but it should lessen with some washes. Also, I wouldn\'t mind if the shirt were constructed with a navy tread instead of white thread since the fabric\'s contrast with the white thread is pretty obvious. But, it\'s more of a stylistic preference.”

“Too dark and rough for me.”
May 2015 · Lance in Greenville, SC

“This fabric is quite heavy. It is also more dark gray IMO than navy. I find it difficult to match with denim b/c it looks very much like denim resulting in a cowboy tuxedo look. Fabric wears well and irons well.”
May 2015 · Killian in Madison, WI

“I\'m used to seeing chambray in the light blue color so I thought I\'d try this darker color out to switch it up. Off the bat I noticed it has a bit more shine to it, which makes the shirt seem dressier than it is. The fabric seems durable, the style just isn\'t for me I guess.”
March 2015 · Jason in Issaquah, WA
-
“I like the shirt, but it was a little stiffer than I hoped”
March 2015 · Dmitri in Burlingame, CA

“Perfect casual or business casual shirt. Styled with band collar, soft plackets and cuffs with an angled pocket it is my new favorite shirt; I might get 5 more. Soft yet sturdy right out of the box. Has a great lustre that i wouldn\'t call shiny. Instead, it\'s exactly what you want in the finest chambray: elegant/chic casual.”

“I\'ve ordered from PC a couple times in the past, and been extremely impressed. This fabric however was quite underwhelming, especially at the price. I did not expect or particularly like the white contrast threading. I hope it grows on me over time however; currently, it feels a little loose, even after several wears and a couple washes (maybe miscalculations for shrinkage; I don\'t know).”
