Fabric Description

A subtle tonal blue tattersall in our fine Greenwich Twill, a perennial favorite fabric quality that balances a great handfeel with incredible performance. It's woven in Europe with a 100s 2-ply thread count, perfect for achieving solid durability without being heavy or thick, while remaining much more opaque than the average white shirt. The twill weave also allows it to drape really well, so that it can lay incredibly clean across your chest—great for keeping that professional look. And the classic tattersall check can seamlessly transition from business to casual—put a President Spread or Roma Cutaway (for the slightly bolder) on this one, and let it become your new go-to.

November 2015  ·  Zachary in Haverstraw, NY

  • Great fabric and great color and depth.

November 2015  ·  Richard in New York, NY

  • Exactly what you expect from the images, and good value for the price. Given my particular tastes, this seems like more of a 40-year-old professional\'s shirt than a shirt for a professional in their 20s or 30s. I\'m very happy with it, however, I prefer the \"Blue Lavender Morton Grid\" which I bought at the same time. Again, this is an aesthetic preference, not a reflection of quality: The Morton Grid fabric has a slightly more subtle pattern, even though that fabric is thinner and probably not the same quality (appropriately, for a less expensive shirt) as the Greenwich Blue Tattersall.

October 2015  ·  Alexander in New York, NY

  • On my monitor the basic fabric appears to have a blue tint in the pictures. The base fabric is white (I wasn\'t surprised because I saw a sample) but just be aware if that\'s not what you\'re looking for. It\'s certainly a very nice looking pattern and great business casual shirt.

October 2015  ·  Clay in Jupiter, FL

  • This has a good weight and a great pattern. Works well with a lot of my suits and a red tie. Boom!

October 2015  ·  Michael in BOCA RATON, FL

  • Stiffer and dryer than the Albini Navy Blue Tattersall (PCF563). A must-iron fabric; surprisingly resistant to collar stains.

September 2015  ·  Seth in CHARLESTON, SC

  • Great feel

September 2015  ·  John in New York, NY

  • The fabric is a nice weight. Not to thin, not too heavy.

September 2015  ·  Mike in Rochester, MN

  • Worth it!

September 2015  ·  Hendrik in Macquarie Park, NSW

  • A little boring

September 2015  ·  christopher in Boston, MA

  • Great overall shirt.

August 2015  ·  Stan in Larchmont, NY

  • Scratchy and coarse.

August 2015  ·  John in New York, NY

  • Same with the Greenwich Red Twill Check. Love the pattern, butI find it a bit irritating around the neck if I button all the buttons.

July 2015  ·  Albert in Providence, RI

  • A nice checked pattern that isn\'t too attention-grabbing. The cloth itself is substantial but not heavy: a nice medium weight shirt cloth.

July 2015  ·  Chris in Hornsby, NSW

  • This fabric was soft and felt like new after the first wash. Definitely good quality fabric without an extreme price. It didn\'t wrinkle much after a day at the office.

June 2015  ·  Eric in AUSTIN, TX

June 2015  ·  Brian in Washington Crossing, PA

June 2015  ·  Nick in PHILADELPHIA, PA

  • The check is subtle enough for business and the color is versatile. The weight of the fabric is good and the shirt drapes well.

June 2015  ·  Scott in Hoboken, NJ

  • I was very impressed with the quality of the Mercer Blue Twill Check fabric. It\'s is soft and thick and just the right level of subtly for check office shirt. It\'s thick enough that it\'s fine to wear without an under shirt. The feel is wonderful. Highly recommend.

June 2015  ·  Logan in New York, NY

  • Perfect

June 2015  ·  James in New York, NY
