A soft, hardy selvedge twill woven in Japan.

This beautiful twill is a prime example of incredible Japanese weaving expertise. Woven with a 20s single-ply selvedge construction, this kind of twill is hard to find. Selvedge twill, like selvedge denim, is time-consuming and difficult to produce, requiring special machinery and incredible skill. It's more durable than non-selvedge twills, too. The finish of this fabric is very soft, like its been loved for many years already, thanks to a special casual wash. This dark navy makes the perfect rugged field shirt—a piece that lives in the same world as your favorite camping and hiking kit, and pairs well with the color palettes of rustic outdoor activities. Roll up the sleeves and layer it over a t-shirt, or tuck it into heavy vintage denim and pair with boots.

Casual Wash: Shirts cut in this fabric are washed after being sewn. This process gives the shirt a softer, broken-in feel with puckering around the seams.
