“Wow, what a great Japanese fabric. The ombré is great and the fabric has a heft to it. I it wears nice for a rugged look. I had it done in a western look with the pockets at an angle ands it looks great. I wish they also had other ombré colors from this manufacturer because I would get them all.”

“Heavyweight but not so warm that you can't wear it indoors (which I was worried about). Really nice fabric, though it's seriously thick - easily twice the size when folded compared to, say, the Beacon flannel. Though I ordered several shirts with the same measurements, the thicker fabric resulted in a slightly tighter fit at the cuffs and sleeves (and elsewhere), so keep that in mind. The only negative is the snaps used for the shirt I ordered are too easy to come undone with very, very light pressure.”

“Really beautiful and interesting fabric. I love the ombre. Weight is substantial. Because of that it does create a bit of a large lump in your armpit where the seams intersect (more noticeable on the tailored). It's very soft, though not as much so, or brushed, as a true flannel. I hope PC will keep offering them in the colder months. My only complaint with the pattern so far is that the 'black' sections on this one (and other dark 'low twist' versions) have a lighter charcoal gray thread sewn in the with them, making the pattern less contrasty, and the shirt look more faded and worn. Some may prefer this look, but I'd prefer a truer dark/black in it, and to let the fabric fade more on its own. I worry that after a few more washes that it's going to look super worn and faded already, but we'll see.”
