Coral 120s Cotton and Linen Plain Weave Fabric

$125

Description

Fabric Description

A super-fine 50/50 blend for elevated warm-weather dressing.

This 120s two-ply plain weave is incredibly fine for a linen blend. It’s made from equal parts cotton and linen, and features just a smattering of the slubs you’d expect to find in a linen fabric. The warp and weft are made of white and coral yarns which creates an effect similar to that of end-on-end fabrics—a particularly fine look that echoes business shirting. With a super smooth finish and subdued, yet still eye-catching, color, this makes a unique shirt for warm weather. Tuck it into white linen dress pants for a fresh tailored look.

Recommended Styling: Our Soft President Spread collar, no placket, and Soft Long One Button cuff make a fool-proof combination you can wear dressed up or down. Roma buttons match nicely.

  • The color is very unique which makes for a very cool change of pace. The weight and texture also helps to drape this shirt very well.

November 2023  ·  Robert in Newport Beach, CA

  • Beautiful to wear! It has a little heft, but it's soft and breathable, for me likely a 3-season shirt. Very elegant!

October 2023  ·  James in Ocean Park, ME

  • Good fabric. Just a little more faded then pictures show. Came more of a dull faded color than looks online. Linen blend always a pleasure

  • Lightweight. Great color.

August 2023  ·  Kevin in PORTLAND, OR

  • It is both thick/sturdy without being scratchy like many heavier weight linens - at least in my experience. A gorgeous color that my husband pairs nicely with burgundy chinos and brown leather loafers.

  • Fabric was thicker than normal linen which gives it a more formal look

July 2023  ·  Alex in MIAMI, FL

  • Fabric is a great color and fit. Reads more pink from a distance, but lovely texture up closer. A bit thicker for linen, but still wears cool.

July 2023  ·  Matt in BROOKLYN, NY

  • Love this fabric

July 2023  ·  Jarrod in Oxford, MS

  • This cotton-linen blend has some nice features. It's a heavier weight than I expected - but still very breathable for summer. The texture is very linen-y... which also gives it a more casual overall appearance.

July 2023  ·  Keith in Westport, CT

  • Was worried when I got it that it would be way to big, but fits perfectly after washing.

July 2023  ·  Eric in Potomac, MD

  • Love the fabric. Will soften after a few washes and needs an iron but very breathable and comfortable.

June 2023  ·  Michael in Coral Gables, FL

  • Great summer fabric, though actually quite rough on the skin.

June 2023  ·  Austin in Long Island City, NY

  • Note the photos/description are actually very accurate for the color. Definitely coral. What was a surprise was that the material is significantly heavier and opaque. I would consider this medium weight and stiffer than what I expected of a linen/cotton shirt. Also, when out of the washer, the wrinkles are stiffer, and therefore doesn't look good or like linen. Needs to be ironed. The slubs are nice, and overall fabric is nice. Just not what I expected. If I had to repeat, I would style for a more dressy shirt.

June 2023  ·  Jeremy in Greenwood Village, CO

  • Nice subtle colour with some visible depth with the weave and the variation in finish. Wrinkles somewhat but that is to be expected and frankly part of the charm.

June 2023  ·  Lindsay in Calgary, AB

  • Lovely color!

June 2023  ·  Colin in Brooklyn, NY

  • The fabric has the look of linen without being overly prone to wrinkling while also having a softer feel thanks to the cotton. The coral leans more towards pink than red, but this is what I was hoping for. Shrinks quite a bit.

June 2023  ·  Douglas in Bethesda, MD

  • This is a great linen blend fabric. Feels soft but also airy and light. Going to be great for summer. Also, great color for pairing with lighter color summer suiting.
