“Having handled "ultra heavyweight" flannels from certain RTW retailers, I wasn't sure what to expect with these just plain ol' heavyweight flannels. It's much lighter-feeling than I expected -- between the fingers it feels thinner and less robust than my standard, all-season OCBD -- but it still manages to be quite warm and cozy. The biggest draw for me, though, is how ridiculously soft this fabric is. It'll definitely be a fall and winter staple for years to come.”

“The pattern and color are great. The fabric is little thinner than i was hoping and needs to be ironed or worn a little wrinkly.”

“This fabric looked great out of the box and the fit is perfect thanks to Sebastian in the Midtown location who worked with me to get everything just right. What I liked about this shirt when I unpacked it was that the flannel had a rich luster and a slight sheen to the fabric. After doing the recommended washing (on cold and hung dry), it was a completely different shirt, unfortunately. The luster and sheen were gone and it looked faded, as if it were several years old. The fabric is soft and very comfortable but it doesn't look the same. It felt tailored and structured and now hangs like a shirt that has seen a few years of life. It is still comfortable and the fit is perfect but I'm disappointed to see that it looks so different after just one gentle wash. You should make customers aware that this shirt will change quite a bit in appearance after a wash and that the photos of the fabric do not reflect this whatsoever.”

“Fabric is great, although definitely thinner than I expected. I wanted a shacket and chose this fabric because I assumed it would be a slightly updated 90’s style buffalo plaid flannel. It’s amazingly soft but definitely not as heavy as expected.”

“Being from the cold north of Wisconsin, I grew up wearing thick flannels. When I think of a flannel, I am thinking of an overshirt. One that could be worn over an already loose-fitting tee shirt while using a chainsaw.
I was immediately drawn to this fabric, so I purchased it without doing enough research. When the shirt arrived, I was scared to see the size of the box it came in as no flannel I had ever owned would have been able to be squeezed into such a small box. When I took it out and tried it on, I loved it. This fabric was nothing like I imagined. It held a decent weight, but it was a bit lighter than my vision of a flannel overshirt. The biggest difference was that it had almost a luxurious feel to it. Unless you were wealthy, I can’t imagine too many people running a chainsaw wearing this “dress†flannel.
While not at all what I was shopping for, I LOVE this shirt! It fills a larger whole in my wardrobe than the overshirt I was shooting for. If you love flannels, but your wife makes you change into something “more appropriate†to go out, this fabric is your new best friend – your wife will be happy by your appearance, and you will be comfortable out wearing your flannel. Extremely happy that I purchased this.
Since the shirt arrived, I have spent a ton of time reading reviews for some PC shirts made from heavier materials as I still want to get the shirt I started out looking for. After reading about 500 reviews, I am going to try the Japanese Low Twist Plaid collection (PCF3644). If you only are looking to purchase one shirt, and want more of an overshirt like I describe, read the reviews for The Japanese Low Twist collection.”
